Update on August 2024

Monthly global means and standard deviations (1-sigma) of baseline data derived
from AGAGE measurrements are archived here

(1) global_mean_md.txt -- based on ALE/GAGE/AGAGE GC-MD data 
                            (from July 1978 to June 2023) 
    notes: 
    (a) The CRDS CH4 data are used to derive global means when GCMD CH4 data
        are not available 


(2) global_mean_ms.txt -- based on AGAGE GC-MS/Medusa measurements
                          (from 2004 to June 2023)
    notes: 
    (a) Since there is no SF6 data from Capegrim Medusa measurements 
        between Jan. 2004 and March 2005, the SF6 data from Capegrim ECD
        measurerments are used to derive global mean SF6 values (between 
        Jan. 2004 and Mar. 2005)

    (b) global means of CFC-113 and CFC-114 from 2018 onwards are withheld
        (flagged as -99.0) due to interference of CFC-113a and CFC-114a.
        These data will be released after further analyses.
